In the centenary year of the General Strike, join The Silk Museum to explore the struggles and social conditions of the mill workers of Macclesfield. Alongside a tour of historic Paradise Mill, which celebrates the skill and dignity of the workforce, expect words from Dickens, Mrs Gaskell and others and encounter mill characters from the past.
