Good Morning Cheshire! 👋
Spring’s starting to flirt with Cheshire (snowdrops, lambs, lighter evenings… you know the drill), and this week’s lineup leans right into it. Expect a mix of after-dark experiences, local markets, hands-on workshops, and a couple of “only in Cheshire” nights out – plus a seasonal Hidden Gem snowdrop walk that’s perfect for a low-effort, high-reward weekend reset.
Let’s dive in!

🗓️ DATES FOR THE DIARY
If you want a walk that screams late February (without trudging round the same old spots), Rode Hall’s Snowdrop Walk is the one. Think carpets of snowdrops along an easy, mile-long route that drops down towards the lake and winds through woodland – properly uplifting on a grey day.
Route options
Option A: The classic Snowdrop Walk (easy win)
Do the official route at a slow pace (it’s made for stopping, staring, taking photos, and pretending you’re not cold).
Option B: Snowdrops + a longer leg-stretcher
Once you’ve done the snowdrop route, add extra time wandering the wider grounds (still low-stress, but it turns it into more of a day out).
Practical bits
-
When: 1 Feb – 1 Mar 2026, Thursday-Sunday, 10am-3pm
-
Where: Rode Hall & Gardens, Scholar Green (ST7 3QP)
-
Dog-friendly: dogs on leads welcome
That’s it for this week.
Thanks for reading The Cheshire Buzz! See you next Thursday – same time, same inbox.
