DESCRIPTION:We look forward to welcoming you to our Village Show\, either as a visitor or entrant. \n\n\n\nTake a look at the schedule on our website www.whitegatewi.weebly.com – there is a ‘Just for Fun’ section too where the public vote for their favourite.  \n\n\n\nTimings\n\n\n\n\n 9am – 11am Entries to be brought & displayed\n\n\n\n 11.15am-1pm Judging will take place\n\n\n\n 2pm-4.30pm. Show open to the public\n\n\n\n\nWe welcome entries into the show\nEntry fee: Adults 50p per class.  Children under 16 free \n\n\n\nCategories:\n\n\n\nProduce Section \n\n\n\n1. A jar of jam2. A small bottle of salad dressing (no mayonnaise)3. Carrot cake from set recipe in schedule (please contact us for the recipe)4. Three pieces of caramel shortbread5. Five cheese straws (any extras are welcome to be donated to the afternoon tea). \n\n\n\nPhotography Section Class \n\n\n\n1. My favourite season2. Urban3. Sports \n\n\n\nNotes: Photos not to exceed 8” x10” including mount. \n\n\n\nCraft Section \n\n\n\n\n Embroidery\,\, counted thread work\n\n\n\n Fabric craft eg. Dress making\, applique\, patchwork\, quilting\, toy making silk painting\n\n\n\n Yarn craft eg lace making\, crochet\, knitting\, felt making\, macrame\, weaving\n\n\n\n Hard craft eg basketry\, ceramics\, leatherwork\, straw woodwork\, metal work\, bead work\, painting on china or class\n\n\n\n Embroidery eg canvas/ blackwork/stump/ or bead work\, smocking\, ribbon or machine\n\n\n\n Paper Craft eg greetings card\, origami\, quilling\, Iris folding.\n\n\n\n\nChildren can enter any class.
