DESCRIPTION:Catch the train from Altrincham or any station along the line to Mouldsworth and join the music train! This is the last one of the season. The band playing on both journeys and at The Goshawk is HOUNDDOG BLUES. DESCRIPTION:This will be the last open Music Train for this season\, and we are going with a popular band for this one – Hound Dog Blues. They have entertained us all several times on the Music Train over the years.  \n\n\n\nHound Dog Blues play well known and not so well-known blues covers from the 50’s\, 60’s and 70’s….. they are sure to have your feet tapping\, you face smiling and your heart and soul feeling good both on the train and in the pub. \n\n\n\nThis final one of the season sees us going from Altrincham to The Goshawk at Mouldsworth. The trains leaves Altrincham at 1836 arriving in Mouldsworth at 1926. After the band has played there\, the departure from Mouldsworth is 2207	arriving back in Altrincham at 2257. SUMMARY:Friends of Hadlow Road Station - Pop-up cafe (Celebrating 160th Anniversary)
DESCRIPTION:Alongside our pop-up café\, we are celebrating the 160th Anniversary of the line and station opening\, we have music by Familiar Ground.  \n\n\n\nThe Thomas Brassey Society (TBS) will have a stand highlighting the work done locally and worldwide by Thomas Brassey\, railway engineer. A new poster will be unveiled by TBS and FHRS will have an information stand highlighting the work done by volunteers over the years to maintain and enhance the station. \n\n\n\nHadlow Road Station is a Grade II listed Heritage England station with a historical museum which has been restored to look as it did when the station was closed in 1956\, now part of the Wirral Way\, it is looked after by the Friends of Hadlow Road Station (FHRS). \n\n\n\nFHRS run pop-up cafes on the platform twice a month\, Sunday mornings 10am-1pm\, cash only\, serving bacon baps\, teacakes\, tea\, coffee and cakes. All funds raised are put back into the station’s maintenance\, restoration and development for all to enjoy. \n\n\n\nPost code for the station is CH64 2UQ and the address is Hadlow Road\, Willaston\, Wirral. \n\n\n\nThere is a small free car park at the station\, with further parking in the village. There is a separate private cafe\, Station Masters House (SMH) for those looking for a wide variety menu which is open 7 days a week.
