SUMMARY:Bunbury Village Day's "WILD BUNBURY"
DESCRIPTION:With Bunbury Village Day just a few weeks away\, the village gets ready to welcome visitors from across Cheshire for this year’s “Wild Bunbury” celebrations on Saturday 13 June. \n\n\n\nNow in its 57th year\, Bunbury Village Day remains one of Cheshire’s best-loved traditional village events\, combining community spirit\, entertainment\, family activities and plenty of fun\, all set against this year’s wildlife and countryside-inspired theme. \n\n\n\nVisitors can look forward to breathtaking flying displays from Gauntlet Birds of Prey\, who will be bringing a spectacular selection of birds including owls\, falcons\, vultures and even a bald eagle. This family-run conservation centre has spent decades caring for and breeding birds of prey\, as well as supporting international conservation work. \n\n\n\nFamilies feeling brave enough can also get up close to snakes\, tarantulas\, lizards\, giant snails and other fascinating creatures with The Creepy Crawly Show\, whose interactive experiences have been delighting audiences for more than 15 years. \n\n\n\nThere will also be plenty of hands-on activities throughout the day\, including nature-inspired children’s crafts from Nature Makers – Cheshire\, while local organisations\, including Cheshire Wildlife Trust\, RSPB Chester\, Let’s Farm\, Mid Cheshire Beekeepers and Northwich Hedgehog Rescue will all be sharing their passion and knowledge in fun and accessible ways. \n\n\n\nThe event will also celebrate the village’s own green spaces and community groups\, with contributions from Bunbury Gardening Club\, Bunbury Mill\, and Sadler’s Wells Community Woodland. \n\n\n\nBut while the wildlife theme brings a fresh flavour to this year’s event\, Bunbury Village Day will still feature all the traditional favourites that generations of visitors have come to love. \n\n\n\nThe ever-popular Parade and Rose Queen celebrations will once again take centre stage\, alongside Stalls\, Games\, the Community BBQ and Bar\, a fabulous Fun Fair and live music throughout the day and evening. \n\n\n\nEntertainment this year includes the return of the City of Chester Bluecoat Band\, who will lead the parade\, plus performances from Green Man Morris. Evening visitors can also enjoy live music from local favourites The Lost Boys and the brilliantly named Evil Badger\, who will round off the day with an energetic mix of rock\, pop and funk classics. \n\n\n\nOrganisers say the “Wild Bunbury” theme has sparked creativity right across the village\, inspiring costumes\, decorations and activities that celebrate not only Cheshire’s wildlife and countryside\, but also the strong sense of community that Bunbury Village Day is known for. \n\n\n\nWhether you come for the parade\, the music\, the wildlife experiences or simply the atmosphere\, Bunbury Village Day 2026 promises a memorable and enjoyable day out for all ages. \n\n\n\nUnfortunately\, NO DOGS are allowed on Bunbury Jubilee Playing Fields.
